Our premium protein blend combines 60% whey protein concentrate with 40% whey protein isolate, offering you the perfect balance of nutritional benefits. This blend provides the rich flavour and additional nutrients from whey concentrate while incorporating the higher protein concentration and reduced lactose content of whey isolate. The result is a superior protein powder that delivers optimal nutrition, excellent mixability, and great taste without unnecessary fillers.
All Nuvion Nutrition products are proudly manufactured by Complex Nutrition in Navan, Co. Meath. With our products being produced by such a highly accredited manufacturer we can ensure the highest standards of quality and purity in every product we offer.
Our Mix and Match order allows you to customise your protein experience. When you purchase two or three bags you have the option to pick the same or different flavours. By bundling your order you can avail of free shipping offers and free shaker as appropriate. This way you can enjoy variety while still availing of offers on shipping costs and other free items.
One scoop (30g) of our protein powder provides approximately 25g of high-quality protein. For most active adults, the recommended protein intake ranges from 1.6-2.2g per kg of body weight daily, with athletes and those doing intense training potentially requiring the higher end of this range.
The majority of your protein should come from a balanced diet of whole foods, with supplements like our protein powder helping to conveniently meet your goals.
There is no universal rule for when to have protein powder. However here are some good suggestions that might give you some ideas.
Our protein blend contains less lactose than pure whey concentrate products, making it more digestible for many people with mild lactose sensitivity. The 40% whey isolate component has undergone additional filtration to remove most of the lactose. However, those with severe lactose intolerance should not consume our whey protein.
Currently we only offer whey-based protein powder which is suitable for vegetarian but not vegans. However, we are planning on launching something for all the vegan athletes in the near future!
Keep your Nuvion Nutrition protein powder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, reseal the bag tightly after each use to maintain freshness and prevent moisture absorption.
Once open the protein should be consumed within 2 months. A 900g bag has 30 servings inside and is generally consumed within 2 weeks to 2 months depending on frequency of usage.
Absolutely! Our protein powder is versatile enough to be incorporated into various recipes. Add it to pancakes, overnight oats, smoothie bowls, or homemade protein bars. When baking, we recommend substituting no more than 1/3 of the flour with protein powder to maintain proper texture.
Yes! Both whey protein concentrate, and whey protein isolate are “complete proteins” and have all nine essential amino acids which includes the BCAAs (Isoleucine, Leucine and Valine). Whey protein is renowned for being one of the highest quality proteins available specifically because of its superior essential amino acid composition. These essential amino acids are crucial for numerous bodily functions, from building muscle tissue to creating new immune cells and supporting overall health.
The only artificial additive we use is a sweetener called sucralose. Sucralose has been approved by the European Union Food Safety Authority for safe human consumption. Sucralose is 600 times sweeter than sugar, this means only a tiny amount is used when making our protein powder.
Returns & Refunds
You have 30 days from the date you received your order to initiate a return.
Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging with all seals intact. Opened or used consumable items cannot be returned due to health and hygiene regulations.
Personalised items, perishable goods past their expiration date, and items marked as non-returnable are not eligible for return unless they are faulty.
Contact customer service within 7 days of receipt. You will be provided with a prepaid return label, and a replacement or full refund will be offered after inspection.
Email customer service at support@complex-nutrition.ie with your order number and reason for return. You’ll receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and detailed instructions.
Securely pack the items with the RAN and a copy of your invoice. Ship the package to the address provided by customer service.
You are recommended to use a tracked postal service to ensure safe delivery of your return.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.
Currently, direct exchanges are not available. To replace an item, return it for a refund and place a new order.
No, this policy does not affect your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.

Returns initiated after 30 days from receipt are not accepted unless the item is faulty or otherwise required by law.
If your refund is not visible after 10 business days, check with your bank or payment provider. If it still does not appear, contact customer service for assistance.
